Are you the next Scorsese, Spielberg, or Tarantino?
Showcase your creativity and video wizardry by participating in the first SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter’s Video Contest. The best video will creatively spotlight ASIS&T and provide insight into the purpose, activities, and benefits of the SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter.
You can be humorous, endearing, serious, or silly. You can use an original script, poem, or rap, as long as you submit your best effort and have fun doing it. The contest is open to all students enrolled in San José State University.
The winner will receive $50.00 in cash and a 1-year paid ASIS&T student membership, as well as be featured on the Student Chapter’s website and social media sites*.
Video Content Criteria:
- Describe the SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter
- Talk about the benefits of being a member of our great Student Chapter
- Tell students how to join the Student Chapter’s membership
All submissions must be:
- A video (no slides or screencasts)
- 2 minutes or less in length
- Use file formats mp4, avi, or wmv
To submit your video, send an e-mail containing your video file to sjsuasist@gmail.com, including your name, the e-mail address by which you wish to be notified, and the title of your video.
All submissions must be received by 11:59pm PST on April 20, 2012.
The winner will be revealed on April 27, 2012.
Here are a couple video examples produced by other ASIS&T Student Chapters to get your creative juices flowing; however, we want you to produce a video that creatively represents the best of our SJSU ASIS&T Student Chapter.
